Toses is the last village within the region of el Ripollès before arriving at la Cerdanya. It will only take you 7 minutes by car to get to la Molina ski resort! You can reach the village either by train (taking the transpyrenean line Barcelona-Puigcerdà) or by car along the n-152, the so-called “Collada de Toses”. It takes about two hours by car from Barcelona.

The municipality of Toses is made up of four villages: Toses, Dòrria, Fornells de la Muntanya and Nevà. It is 1450m above sea level and surrounded by mountains which are more than 2000m high.
We highlight the peculiarity that no new building has been built since the beginnings of the 20th C. and that some of the houses that have been restored date from the 12th C.
The town’s annual festival is July 10 and 22, coinciding with Saint Christopher and Saint Magdalene, its Patron Saints.
In its Romanesque Church, which dates from the 11th C., there are ancient altarpieces and paintings. In the summer, the church also holds classical music concerts due to its convenient sonority. These concerts are part of the regional cycle of music held in several churches of the region of el Ripollès and the Baronia of Toses.

In the spring, you can enjoy the awakening of nature surrounded by beautiful landscapes with luxuriant vegetation and snow at the highest peaks.
In the summer, you can enjoy the sun and the nice weather: it is quite cool in contrast with the stifling heat of the city. At the end of August, you can pick up the first mushrooms (rovellons, ceps, fredolics, etc.). They are abundant in the municipality!
In the fall, we attend a spectacular outburst of color you cannot miss.
And finally, in the winter, you can go to the ski resorts of la Molina and Masella, plus the French and Andorran ones, which are also quite close.
